  Mission Statement
  The Lewa Wildlife Conservancy works as a catalyst for the conservation of wildlife and its habitat.
It does this through the protection and management of species, the initiation and support of community conservation and development programmes, and the education of neighbouring areas in the value of wildlife.

Supporting Lewa

Lewa relies on income from tourists visiting the Conservancy and donations from individuals, companies and foundations.

Conservation on the scale in operation at Lewa does not come cheap. Without the generosity and vision of our past and present supporters, Lewa would not be what it is today. Without future donor funding Lewa cannot continue to operate.

There are five tourism operations based on Lewa;

    · Lewa Safari Camp
    · Lewa House
    · Kifaru (a small house)
    · Lewa Wilderness (book through Bush Homes )
    · Sirikoi

the operators pay a fee per client, which goes towards Lewa's running expenses but the scale and importance of the work is such that this will never cover all our costs.

For details of some of our future and present needs, please visit the Lewa Wish List.
